Europcar's Berhane Takes Historic Win on Deda Elementi

natnaelNatnael Berhane of Deda Elementi  sponsored Team Europcar was victorious in Stage 3 of the Tour of Turkey, a tough mountain finish to Elmali. It was a historic win as Berhane, an Eritrean rider took first victory of a sub-Saharan African rider in a Hors Categorie (HC) event on the UCI calendar, a great result from a former World Cycling Centre (WCC) trainee. 22-year-old Berhane is also the new race leader of the eight-stage race.

"This is enormous," Berhane said after his win. "It was a very big stage. I didn't expect to win because I didn't know how well I could climb up here. This is my first year as a pro and my first participation to the Tour of Turkey. It was my dream to win such a race, that's why I was in tears when I crossed the line. It was the best stage to win here!"

WCC Director Frédéric Magné said "It is an historic day for Eritrea, for Africa and for cycling. Natnael Berhane's win demonstrates the exceptional qualities of this rider, who preferred to remain amateur for an extra season in order to continue his progression. It is also proof of the quality of the coaching and training work undertaken at the WCC."

BePink Dominates in El Salvador on Deda Elementi

Deda Elementi sponsored womans cycling team team from Monza, Italy, BePink, dominated the seventh edition of the Vuelta Ciclista a El Salvador. BePink took the top two places in the general classification of the race belong to two BePink athletes: Noemi Cantele and Alena Amialisuik.

BePink team leader Noemi Cantele, who rides with Deda Elementi Trentacinque bars & stem said “I’m really happy, this is a fantastic result to win the Vuelta Ciclista a El Salvador. The little roja shirt of the race leader has a special value. It was hard, but thanks to impeccable teamwork BePink has achieved an important objective.” Cantele won three stages in the Vuelta Ciclista a El Salvado, BePink also won the team competition and Cantele was Queen of the Mountains.

Gaudin Wins Paris-Nice Prologue On Deda Elementi

Il 26enne pro francese Damien Gaudin (Europcar) ha preso un'altra vittoria con Deda Elementi, vincendo al Prologo 2,9 km Parigi-Nizza 2013, la corsa verso il Sole, nell'Houilles, appena fuori Parigi. Manubrio Deda Elementi, cronometro Kronos, traccia specialista, Gaudin ha sorpreso molti con il suo giro veloce vincendo.

"Ero nervoso fino al momento finale fino a quando ho visto Westra, "ha detto Gaudin. "E 'la mia prima vittoria da professionista. E' pazzesco. Ho aspettato questo per 6anni.Ogni anno alla fine della stagione, Mi dicevo, 'E' andata bene, solo una vittoria manca." Gaudin di Europcar compagno di squadra di Sébastien Turgot, dotato anche del manubrio Deda ELEMENTI Kronos era al 9° posto.

Coquard Wins Another On Deda Elementi

French neo-pro sprinter Bryan Coquard of Team Europcar took his third win of the 2013 season with his Deda Elementi Alanera integrated handlebars & stem, winning Stage 8 of the Le Tour de Langkawi in Malaysia.

"Today, I am very happy. It's my third win this year. It's a very good day for Europcar and for me. Before coming to this race I had a bet with my sport director that if I win a stage I will have to show my Olympic tatoo. I'm very proud of this tatoo because the silver medal for me at the Olympic Games is my best memory to date."

Drujon Wins In France on Deda Elementi

Deda Elementi sponsored Mathieu Drujon (Big Mat Auber 93) outsprinted three bigger-named French riders to win the Classic Sud-Ardèche Souvenir Francis Delpech. BigMat-Auber 93's Drujon was part of an escape that went on the Rocher de Sampzon climb with 17km to go and beat Pauriol (Sojasun), Bardet and Georges (AG2R La Mondiale) at the finish for the win.
